Murni Mahmud is a researcher in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience (UX). She specialises in interaction design evaluation methods, value-based design, usability and accessibility of website user interfaces. She was also awarded with several research grants for Islamic website evaluation, e-government portal evaluation, museum evaluation, virtual reality, children websites, learning HCI in the Malaysian context and mobile interactive Arabic poetry programme for pedagogical purposes.

Juliana Jan joined Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd in 2004 and is currently the Chief Investment Officer, responsible in managing the company grant products, the DEQ800 investment portfolio and temporarily holds the position as the Acting CEO of Cradle Seed Ventures (CSV), Cradle’s venture capital arm.
Juliana has an extensive and diverse experience in market research and grant as well as venture capital funding. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics from the Missouri University Science and Technology – Rolla.
Juliana started as an analyst under the developmental grant (CIP50) team and in early 2009, she headed the developmental grant (CIP Catalyst) evaluation team. Juliana continues to be committed in building and developing strong growth potential start-ups in the country specifically in early stage through her work in Cradle. She played a major role as part of the working committee in the setting up of the various products in Cradle and the development of processes, such as the CIP Catalyst (developmental funding), CIP500 (seed funding) as well as the Co-investment and DEQ800 initiatives in 2014 and 2016 respectively.
Prior to joining Cradle, Juliana started her career as a market research executive in a technology-funding agency, which provides both grant and venture capital funding, where her industry and market research projects varied from consumer product and biotechnology to other high technology industries. This has given her a strong background in spotting market trends, analysing gaps in the market and identifying market needs.
After two years in the market research division and another year in the CEO’s office, Juliana joined the investment unit in the same organisation as an analyst where she acquired experience in venture capital funding.

Dr. Siti Muhaza Sheikh Zainal is the Division Secretary of Policies and Inspectorate, Ministry of Housing and Local Government from the year 2017 to present.
She begins to serve the government in the year 1995, as Assistant Director of External Service Unit in Economy Planning Unit of Prime Minister’s Department. She is then attached to International Affairs Unit, Planning and Research, National Anti-Drugs Agency, Ministry of Home Affairs before being promoted to Director of National Anti-Drugs Agency, Sabah.
Prior to this, she was the Chief Assistant Secretary of Strategic and International Planning for Ministry of Rural and Regional Development. Hazwan Razak is the Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC), a Government-linked entity entrusted to lead the implementation of Sarawak’s Digital Economy Strategy. His team focuses on building a robust ecosystem that supports local start-ups and entrepreneurs and providing employment opportunities in all corners of the state, via digital empowerment. He also currently leads several Sarawak STEM initiatives, is an MBOT Professional Technologist, and a Project Management Professional (PMP). He started his career with PETRONAS, serving in upstream offshore operations, before expanding his skillsets working in a multinational start-up and an education-focused social enterprise. As a member of the International Development Design Network (IDIN), he has carried out short-term development design projects in several developing communities globally. He was educated at Melbourne and Oxford in engineering, and loves all things tech.

His mobility career started in 1994 with Celcom Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. He was instrumental in expanding Celcom network and initiated the 2G network rollout throughout Sarawak. He was also appointed on ad-hoc basis as a consultant on several international Malaysia Sdn. Bhd in September 2000 to join Maxis Mobile Sdn. Bhd. and he embarked on Maxis network rollout in East Malaysia. He left as Regional Network Head at Maxis Broadband Sdn. Bhd. in March 2013.
He continued his career by venturing into telecommunication infrastructure business when he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at SACOFA Sdn. Bhd. (“SACOFA”) in April 2013. During his tenure at SACOFA, he expanded SACOFA’s business and network beyond Malaysia.
